Liz Da-Silva (born June 10, 1978) is a popular and talented Nigerian Nollywood actress. Her real name is Elizabeth Omowunmi Tekovi Da-Silva. She predominantly acts in Yoruba movies. Da-Silva earned the Best Actress in a Supporting Role award at the Best of Nollywood Awards in 2018 after being nominated for the Best Supporting Actress of the Year (Yoruba) at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2016.

Early Life & Education
Liz Da-Silva was born on the 10th of June, 1978, in Lagos State, which falls in the South-Western region of Nigeria. He hails from Togo because her parent is of Togo descent. Liz Da-Silva had all her educational background in Lagos State, ranging from primary school, secondary school, and higher institution. She had her secondary school education in Ireti Grammar School. She went further to study at Lagos State University, where she later obtained her B.Sc degree.
Career
Da-Silva’s started her acting career while she was still in secondary school. Then, she used to take part in school plays. She had her movie debut in the Yoruba movie industry in 2004 through the help of a well-known actress, Iyabo Ojo. Da-acting Silva’s career gained prominence after she played prominent roles in two films, the first of which was Wakati Meta by Wale Lawal and the second was Omidan by Iyabo Ojo. In 2012, Da-Silva made her film-producing debut with the release of Mama Insurance, a film starring Ayo Mogaji, Lanre Hassan, Iyabo Ojo, Ronke Ojo, and Doris Simeon. Liz Da-Silva cited Bukky Wright as a key impact on her acting skills and cited her as her role model in the Nigerian Yoruba film industry.
