As a Nigerian gay man, I often get asked about starting a family and having children. However, honestly, I don’t want any children—and that’s okay.In Nigerian culture, being a man is regularly associated with expectations of marriage and children. But for me, it is important to live a life that feels right for me, including choosing not to have children. I believe it is significant to normalize different life choices and understand that not everyone wants the same things. My decision does not diminish me as a person or as a man. I am living my truth, and that is the most essential thing. I appreciate your support on this journey. Let’s continue to embrace who we are without apologies
