Raised by his supportive parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dickson Nyakno, he was exposed to a variety of sounds from a young age, fueling a natural love for rhythm, expression, and lyrical storytelling.
Education & Foundation
Lyrix began his formal education at DE K Kings Montessori School and Hidden Treasure School, where he laid a strong academic and personal foundation. Between 2016 and 2022, he continued his studies at Rich Land International School and later CSS Umuapkahu, completing his O’Level education with focus and determination. These formative years not only sharpened his intellect but also nurtured his creative spirit.
Journey Into Music
Though Lyrix developed an early interest in music at the age of 9, it was in 2025 that he finally stepped into the recording studio to pursue his dream professionally. His inspiration came from Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck, whose life story and lyrical rawness resonated deeply with Lyrix. This motivation pushed him to begin crafting songs that reflect personal truths, everyday struggles, and the aspirations of today’s youth.

Lyrix made his official entry into the music industry with his debut single, “Form for Me.”
