Ibitoye David professionally known on stage as Daffyd Silva is a Nigerian afro-beat singer, songwriter and music composer. The Lagos based artist is one of the fast rising artist in Nigeria popularizing himself gradually in the Nigerian music industry and beyond.
He was born on March 29th 1993 in the family of Mr. & Mrs Ibitoye at Odo-Ado, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti state, Nigeria.
Educational Background
Daffyd Silva attended St. Micheal Nursery & Primary school at Olokuta, Ado-Ekiti from 2000-2008. In September 2008, he moved down to Lagos where he attended Orisumibare Junior High School Ipaja and finished his junior WAEC in 2013. He later proceeded to Ishefun Community Senior High School Ishefun Ayobo for his senior secondary education.
Daffyd Silva decided to leave school in 2016 when he was mandated to repeat SS 1 twice before being promoted to SS 2. Since then, he has proceeded in pursuit of his music career and other skills that have been of great push to his career today.
Early Career
Daffyd Silva discovered his music talent in 2012 while still in high school but his aunty that he was living with didn’t find it cool seeing him sing and focusing on building a music career. He struggled with this gap till 2020 when he started composing his own original songs.
In May 21st 2021, he released his first single titled “Warning” and since then, Daffyd Silva have never looked back in the music industry as he keeps adding up to his releases pushing his career with all determination.
Hobbies
Daffyd Silva loves listening to music, gymnastics like stunting, flexibility dance, racing, parkour workout and any form of exercise and fitness.
Album Releases
He released his first track titled “Warning” a song with meaningful parables composed from life experience. He proceeded to release his second track titled “Am Sorry”
